Homeschool Heroes 4-H Club
Leader: Paul Herring
The Homeschool Heroes 4-H club usually meets
the second Saturday of each month, September through May at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity
Wesleyan Church, 125 Orchard Drive, Cedar Falls. Your children will have
opportunities to participate in a business meeting, stand up in front of the
group to share, listen and learn from others, and get to know other homeschooled
children. Children should be accompanied by at least one parent. No
nursery for toddlers or preschoolers is provided, but they are welcome to come
and sit with parents. To be a member, your child must enroll in at least
one project from the Iowa State Extension Service. The child may also
enter finished work in the Black Hawk County Fair held in July, although fair
participation is not required. 4-H is meant to be a cooperative effort of
the whole family and of families working together.
