Candace Buskohl Bio
Candace Buskohl, a second year CORE teacher, is very
excited to be offering courses again this year. Candace has a degree in
Elementary and Middle Level Education from the University of Northern Iowa and
has had experience teaching middle grade math and social studies in the public
school setting.
Candace lives in Waterloo with her husband and two young
boys. She attends Cedar Heights Baptist Church. You may contact her at 215-3679

Saxon Math 5/4
This course is designed to complement the Saxon Math 5/4
Curriculum, third edition. We will focus on the basic mathematical concepts
covered in the 5/4 book and will learn through a variety of methods including
discussion, small group activities, and hands-on learning. The class is designed
for students at the 4th-5th grade level. To determine if
this course is right for your student visit the Saxon website,
saxonpublishers.com, and have your child complete the Middle Grades Placement
Test.
The Saxon Math 5/4 class will meet on Monday
mornings from 10:25- 11:25 at Trinity Bible Church in Cedar Falls.
The course fee is $20 per month per student, due at the first class of
each month. There is a class minimum of three students. If you have any
